The Compassion Fund established in 1988 allows MMI to assist member church congregations in ministering to people in their communities who suffer unexpected crises. Through application from the membered church, MMI will match dollar-for-dollar with the local congregation requesting aid up to $3,000 per request.
MMI donates monies back to the church on a bi-annual basis based on the number of MMI policyholders in their congregation. This program gives MMI the opportunity to help support and strengthen the church within its ministry.
Membership has its privileges, but for MMI’s churches, membership has its purpose! As an MMI policyholder, you have the comfort of knowing that your premiums are being re-invested back into your church.
MCC has been a big part of our development as a company and MMI has donated monies to MCC over the past 60 years. In recent years MMI has put more emphasis on our member churches however we still understand the importance that MCC brings to the Mennonite community.
