Our Mission
To provide mutual aid by meeting the property and casualty insurance needs of the Mennonite community and those of like faith in Alberta, thereby supporting and strengthening the church.
Our Vision
To be an organization of Mennonite believers and others of like faith that consistently exemplifies the principles in Galatians 6:2, “Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.” (NIV)
Compassion Fund
The Compassion Fund allows MMI to assist member church congregations in ministering to people in their communities who suffer unexpected crises. Matching dollar-for-dollar with the local congregation requesting aid, MMI may contribute up to $3,000 per situation. Where applicable, please contact your local MMI church representative.
Member Church Donation Program
MMI partners with the member churches in a donation program where MMI donates monies back to the church on a bi-annual basis based on the number of MMI policyholders in their congregation. This program helps us support and strengthen the church and allows your church to carry on its ministry.
Membership has its privileges, but for MMI’s churches, membership has its purpose! As an MMI policyholder, you have the satisfaction of knowing that your premiums are being re-invested right back into your church.
